Introduction

The Connectivity SDK allows OMRON partner's applications to interact with OMRON connected devices and retrieve vital data from the devices. The partners can use the data to build feature-rich user experience. If you are interested in this SDK, please feel free to contact us.

Getting Started

1. If you are interested in using the SDK, please contact us. To help us provide the best guidance, include details such as the devices you want to connect and the type of application or service you are planning.
2. We will propose solutions tailored to the application or service you are considering. The SDK is one of these options. We also offer several contract plans so you can choose one that fits your budget. Once the contract is finalized, we will provide access to the SDK.
3. Purchase or obtain OMRON Healthcare connected devices supported by the SDK. There are two types of devices: connected devices (accessible via Bluetooth) and non-connected devices. The OMRON Library works exclusively with the connected devices.
4. Refer to the Library documentation (Implementation Guide) for detailed implementation instructions.
5. Run the sample application. And review the testing app’s source code to understand how the functions are implemented and invoked.
6. Integrate the OMRON connectivity library into your application and begin exploring its features!

Geographic Availability

Supported Devices

The SDK itself supports the devices listed below, but their availability is controlled by a partner key. In other words, communication is only possible with devices assigned to the partner key. This allows for restricting connections to unsupported devices and limiting access to only those devices that comply with regulations specific to each country or region of distribution.

Devices in the table with a blank SDK version have already been supported since SDK versions prior to 3.6.0. The new version also supports devices that were supported by the older version.
